We engineer each transformer to the standards and certifications required by your destination country, grid code, and project specifications. Below is an overview of the certifications held by our qualified partner factories.
Representative coverage by region. Each project quotation includes a certification coverage note specific to the product family and factory proposed for your shipment.
Note on our partner factories: Our qualified partner factories are selected for each project based on the certification, capacity, and engineering capability required. For projects requiring UL, CE, or other specific certifications not held by our existing partners, we identify and qualify additional factories on a project basis.
Apex Power Systems holds a formal authorization from a certified Chinese MV/HV transformer manufacturerto serve as their international trade and engineering partner. Our qualified partner operates ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 certified production lines, holds UL (US/Canada), CE (EU Machinery Directive), CCC (China mandatory), and 3A Credit certifications, and has delivered transformers to utility and EPC projects across South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
When you contract Apex Power Systems for a project, you are contracting a factory-qualified engineering team with direct factory access — not a broker reselling another factory's product.

Global Customer Footprint
The transformers we source have been supplied to utilities, EPC contractors, and industrial buyers across South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The logos below represent a selection of customers served through our partners' international business — directly or via trade partners including Apex Power Systems.
Customer names listed above are representative of our partners' international business footprint. Inclusion of a name on this page does not imply that the customer purchased through Apex Power Systems specifically — these are partner-factory-served customers, which we are authorized to reference as evidence of their market presence and engineering capability.
Across our qualified partner network, we cover the following major standards for MV/HV transformer engineering, testing, and supply.
| Standard | Coverage |
|---|---|
| IEC 60076 | Power transformers — full family (parts 1-20) |
| IEEE C57.12 | North American standard for distribution and power transformers |
| CSA C227.4 | Canadian standard for three-phase pad-mounted distribution transformers |
| GB 1094 / GB/T 1094 | Chinese national standards — fully harmonized with IEC 60076 |
| EN ISO 12100 / EN 60204 | EU safety standards for machinery and electrical equipment |
| ISO 12944 | Corrosion protection — paint systems for offshore/coastal environments |
| ASTM B117 | Standard practice for salt-fog testing (offshore units) |
| IEC 60076-11 | Dry-type transformers — vibration and environmental qualification |
| IEC 60076-5 | Short-circuit withstand capability — type test verification |
| IEEE C57.12.28 | Pad-mounted equipment enclosure integrity |
Standards In Practice
Every project goes through four standard-setting checkpoints before production begins, ensuring the delivered transformer meets the exact certification scope you need.
For every project, our engineering team reviews the applicable standards against your destination country, grid code, and environmental conditions.
We only work with factories whose certificates are current, scope-appropriate, and verifiable through the issuing body. We audit production capability before engagement.
Each project quotation is accompanied by a Certification Coverage Note listing the standards, certificate numbers, and validity periods relevant to your shipment.
Where required by your contract, we arrange third-party or in-house witness of type and routine tests at the factory. Test reports are issued in English per IEC 60076 format.
Certificate originals are available during project quotation. Submit your specification sheet and we will include the relevant certification coverage notes and a draft witness-test plan.
